From Oklahoma City, I came to Washington after graduation from Wheaton College (Norton, MA) to work for my Senator, Henry Bellmon, moving to the (then) Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. I married, had two children, and became involved in PTA and my local garden club and issues both local and global. I have been active in the League of Women Voters and another voting integrity group, as well as a peace group, Fund Our Communities. I am currently a co-president of the Montgomery County National Organization for Women (NOW). I have a super four-year-old granddaughter who lives in Silver Spring and would be happy to present at the Clearinghouse on any topic.
