Anne Martin, long time member of the Clearinghouse, retired from Federal government, later working as a consultant specializing in counter terrorism and domestic preparedness for state and local governments. She has extensive experience in managing multi-million-dollar projects and developing national plans. Among her responsibilities were national policy development, disaster operations, and training for state and local officials. She has public speaking experience as a trainer and speaker, including national and international conferences. She is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and the U. S. Army War College. She holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Management. She is proud to have been active in gender equity issues since the 70’s when she joined Federally Employed Women. She is a past president of the Washington branch of the American Association of University Women, past president of the Woman’s National Democratic Club Foundation and past co-president of the Woman’s National Democratic Club. She is currently active in the Women’s League for Peace and Freedom, Toastmasters International and the National Federation of Democratic Women.
